Taylor came up with a sweet treat that Jaxon and Jones could have, and OMG it’s so good. This recipe is dairy and egg free, for the boys’ food allergies. It will crave your sweet tooth and the macros are pretty good!


What You Need:

2 Ripe Bananas

1/3 cup Melted Butter (Earth Balance, Vegan)

2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (optional)

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

pinch of Salt

1/3 cup Sugar

1/2 cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce

1/2 teaspoon Vanilla

1 1/2 cups Flour

1/3 cup Chocolate Chips (EnjoyLife Dairy Free)

Olive Oil Spray


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease your loaf pan with olive oil spray (ours was 5×9).

In a bowl, take a fork and mash the bananas.

Next stir in the melted butter.

Stir in the collagen peptides until dissolved.

Add the baking soda and salt and stir in.

Stir in sugar.

Stir in apple sauce.

Add vanilla.

Stir in flour.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

(basically just add each of the ingredients listed above and stir after each one.)

Take your mixture and pour into the loaf pan. Smooth out and bake for 50 minutes.

Let cool and slice.

Macros for one slice, or 1/10th of the loaf: 150 calories – 8g Fat, 18g Carbs, 2.6g Protein (these include the collagen peptides)
