My dad made these for me one day, and I was hooked. I’ve been making them ever since, sometimes weekly.

What You Need:

Makes 4 burgers (adjust amounts for more)

1lb of Ground Turkey (we use 93% lean)

1/2 a zucchini grated

2 garlic cloves grated

1/4 red onion grated

Salt & Pepper to season

Olive Oil Spray

Favorite Toppings:

Avocado Slices

Grilled Pineapple Rings

Sliced Red Onion

Tomatoes

Ketchup

Take a zucchini and grate half of it right onto a couple paper towels. Then ring out the zucchini over sink to get rid of all the extra water and moisture. Put your grated zucchini into a mixing bowl.

Next grate 1/4 of a red onion into the same mixing bowl. Then grate both of your garlic cloves into the bowl. Add your ground turkey and season everything with salt and pepper. Combine all ingredients really well with hands.

Heat a pan over medium-high heat, and spray with olive oil spray.

While the pan is heating, divide your ground turkey mixture into four even parts and form into burger patties.

Place in your pan and cook until completely cooked through, about 10 minutes. I recommend flipping a few times so the zucchini doesn’t get too burned.

Get creative with your toppings, serve on a bun or over a bed of spinach. French fries or pineapple cilantro rice are always great sides to go with your burger. Enjoy!
