So my son is six, and a lot of the gifts below are aimed at around his age, although I think some would work for just about any age.

Pictured Above:
Dinosaur Fossil Digging Kit – I love that this is something different and hands on, plus a learning opportunity.
Pass Back Football – I mean, I couldn’t think of a better gift for a football loving kid, especially when friends aren’t around to play.
iPad – We have gone through quite a few Amazon tablets, and they are fine, but all Jaxon has asked for this year is an Apple iPad. Apparently there are games all his buddies play, that the Amazon tablet does not have. If this is something you are eyeing- order ASAP! It was out of stock and was 5 weeks to get.
Nike Shoes – If they are in need of a new pair, I love these as a gift. This particular pair is a great price, come in a ton of colors, and still have the velcro so don’t have to worry about tying.
Fishing Poles – This is a fun gift, that’s not a toy, and something you can do with your kids(once it warms up).
Basketball Mug – Alright I thought this was so cute, especially for hot chocolate all winter long or cereal in the mornings. It would also be so cute, to put basketball tickets in it!
Experiences as Gifts:
I really like when I can give kids gifts that are not toys. Here are some good ones..
Disney on Ice Tickets
Pacer Game Tickets (or whatever basketball/football team is in your city)
Monster Jam Tickets
Children’s Museum Passes
Zoo Passes
Lessons – swimming, gymnastics, music, etc.
Movie Tickets – fun to put with some candy from the dollar store.
